What is Jeuveau?

Jeuveau is an FDA-approved injectable for the treatment of wrinkles. It is a neuromodulator injectable similar to Botox. However, Jeuveau is specifically formulated to treat glabellar lines or 11 lines between the eyebrows. Jeuveau works by temporarily relaxing the targeted muscles, preventing them from contracting and causing lines.

Who is a Candidate?

Healthy individuals 18 years and older who are bothered by frown lines between their brows can often benefit from Jeuveau injections. However, you may not be a good candidate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a blood clotting problem. The Jeuveau Treatment

During your Jeuveau treatment, your provider will begin with cleansing the treatment area. A topical numbing cream may also be applied to ensure you are comfortable. Jeuveau will then be injected into the 11 lines between the brows. This process typically takes about 15-20 minutes to complete.

Jeuveau Results

Following your Jeuveau treatment, you may experience mild redness, swelling, and bruising at the injection site. There is no downtime needed after treatment, however, it may be recommended that you avoid strenuous activity for the remainder of the day. Most people can begin to see results after about two days, results typically last 4-6 months.
